Machine Quilting & Binding Techniques with Denise Schober There are so many ways you can quilt with your home sewing machine. Join Denise to learn four different methods of quilting and binding. Explore stitching with the walking foot using straight or decorative stitches, template, and ruler work, freehand quilting, and more. Denise will even demonstrate how to use an embroidery machine for quilting. Also learn four ways to bind your quilted placemats. You will be an expert at binding when you finish the class. Must bring your machine, rulers, and feet. Kit provided in class includes fabric and batting only.

–SEWING MACHINE (and manual) in good working condition.  Make sure you have taken your owner’s classes.
Make sure you are able to do the basics, i.e. thread the machine, wind a bobbin, change stitch length and width,
and move the needle side to side if your machine has the capability.
